Join us at the First Annual BayCon Film Festival (FilmFest One)—a dynamic celebration of speculative fiction on the big screen. Under the expert direction of Sinohui Hinojosa, renowned for his work with Cinequest and the San Jose Short Film Festival, this year’s festival promises a captivating lineup of films that push the boundaries of imagination.

The festival will run throughout the convention, screening feature-length and short form content on both the Main and Chaos Stages during intermissions and in between events. We are currently calling for submissions from filmmakers and creators who are passionate about speculative fiction. Whether you’re showcasing a groundbreaking narrative, innovative visuals, or a bold reinterpretation of genre conventions, we want to see your work.
