BayCon's World-Famous Room Parties
After dark, BayCon transcends normal space-time and enters its true form: the Room Party Multiverse. These aren’t just parties—they’re mini-universes conjured by fans with improbable dedication, infinite creativity, and occasionally, functional fog machines.
From the enigmatic hum of Chris Castro’s Red Room (yes, that Red Room) to the strategic revelry of HMS Medusa’s sci-fi Wardroom, every room offers a new dimension of delight, snacks, and maybe questionable punch. These parties are entirely fan-funded, passion-fueled, and absolutely essential to the late-night cultural fabric of BayCon.
Want to Host a Party?
All it takes is a vision, some vibes, and contacting our Hotel Team to secure placement on the Party Floors—located in the Garden Terrace buildings, perfectly positioned near panel rooms (and far enough from any sleeping Vogons). Whether you’re brewing a humble two-bed experience or summoning a junior suite-level event horizon, act fast: space is limited, and the best rooms tend to evaporate on a first-come, first-conjured basis.

All Party Hosts will be required to have full weekend badges (or equivalent), and are expected to uphold the BayCon Parties & Receptions Policy. Room parties not on our designated party floors may be shut down by Hotel Security and the Host(s) may be subject to eviction.
