Baycon 2008 Registration

Pre-registration for BayCon 2008 is now closed. If you missed the boat, you can still buy memberships at the Convention. Registration will be located in the Mendocino room on the lobby level of the Hyatt Regency.

At-Con Membership rates are:

$80 Full (Four-Day) Membership
$30 Friday Only
$45 Saturday Only
$40 Sunday Only
$25 Monday Only
$20 One Evening Only

Evening badges will be sold from 7:00 PM until 9:00 PM on Friday and Saturday evenings and from 7:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Sunday. An evening badge is good from the time of purchase until 9:30 AM the following day.

Children's Badges

An Adult is considered anyone over the age of twelve (12) years prior to the first day of the convention. Youth badges will be made available to children between the ages of eight (8) and twelve (12). Kid-in-Tow badges are available for children up to the age of seven (7) who will be CONSTANTLY in the company of their adult BayCon member caretaker. These children cannot be left on their own in the Gaming Room or any other badge-required convention area. (These memberships are sold at the door only!)

Name and Identification Policy

      
The BayCon Science-Fiction Convention is a community effort. As
      such, we do not sell tickets or admission. Instead, we sell
      memberships to individuals who are interested in experiencing what
      goes on at BayCon and in becoming part of our community. As a
      member based organization, we require our member's
      legal name (as would be listed on a government-issued ID)
      and current address information for our records. We reserve the
      right to require you to show us a government-issued photo ID with
      your name and address before registering you as a member or
      releasing your membership badge from our possession.

      
This policy does not prevent you from using a "fan
      name" or "nickname," although it is also our policy
      that if a fan name is given, the legal name will also appear on
      the member's badge. If you feel this would cause a problem, please
      come to the registration desk and ask to see the Registration
      department head or contact the Registration Department Heads by
      emailing reg(at)Baycon.org.

      
Membership Refund Policy

      
Any BayCon membership will be refunded if the refund is
      requested prior to the start of the convention. Refunds are
      subject to verification that funds have cleared into Artistic
      Solutions, Inc., accounts. Refunds may take up to 45 days to
      process to allow funds to clear. Once the convention has begun,
