Hoist Your Own Jolly Roger!

In addition to the general pirate mayhem, the Programming and Publications Divisions are hosting a Jolly Roger flag contest. That's right, you can create and wave your very own Jolly Roger before and during the con.

We are looking for flags on our theme of "Adventures in Space — A Pirate's Tale." Submitted designs may be printed in the Program Book, and will be displayed for a People's Choice prize at the Meet the Guests reception on Friday night. The designer of the winning entry will receive a free membership to BayCon 2009.

The Jolly Roger Flag Contest is now closed. We'd like to thank the artists who sent us their designs, many of which were published in the BayCon Program Book. Remember to come to Friday night's Meet The Guests Reception (8:00 PM in Ballrooms E+F) to view all of the entries and help us choose a winner.

And the winner is...

There were six entries in the Jolly Roger competition and two departmental banners. Congratulations to Sarah Goodman for winning by popular acclaim and thanks to our other entrants.
