All pre-registered members should pick up their badge and packet at the BayCon Registration desk, unless you belong to one of the following categories:

Convention Staff:Con Ops (Room 1063, First Floor)
Guests & Guest of Guest:Program Operations (Third Floor)
Dealers & Dealer Extras:Dealers' Room (Bay Bridge Inspire Room)

(If you fit in more than one category, use the first one that applies on the list.)

The convention Registration desk is located just to the right of the hotel registration desk as you walk into the hotel.

To avoid any possible confusion or mistakes from moving membership badges between locations, badges will not be available after the normal hours of the pick-up location are over. Please plan accordingly.

Lost Badge Policy

Please, don't lose your badge!

We cannot replace a lost badge under any circumstance! If despite all your efforts to hang on to your badge it is still lost, please report the loss to the Registration desk as soon as possible. Once your lost badge is reported, you may purchase a new membership (at full price) and if your old badge is found we will gladly refund your second purchase. We are sorry about how harsh this policy is, but there will be no exceptions!

Name and Identification Policy

The BayCon Science-Fiction Convention is a community effort. As such, we do not sell tickets or admission, instead we sell memberships to individuals who are interested in experiencing what goes on at BayCon and in becoming part of our community. As a member based organization, we require our member's real names and addresses for our records. We reserve the right to require you to show us a photo ID with your name and address before registering you as a member.

This policy does not prevent you from using a fan name or nickname, although it is also our policy that if a fan name is given, the real name will also appear on the member's badge. If you feel this would cause a problem, please come to the Registration desk and ask to see the Registration Department Head.
