Boffer Wars
Welcome to Baycon 2006 Boffer Wars. The Battle Dome is where you can whack a friend or loved one and get away with it, scot-free. From around midnight until sunrise you to can whack other people senseless with foam padded weapons? (Well, all right, you can't exactly whack someone senseless if they don't have any in the first place...) Boffer Wars utilizes fantasy and medieval weapons, anywhere from daggers and swords to crowbars and two by fours.
You really don't have to sleep all night because there's nothing else interesting going on, just stay awake and get in a good night of de-stressing by soundly rouncing your opponents in a non-lethal manner.
When? You know: that stretch of time that mundanes foolishly think is meant for sleeping.
Where? Probably the same place as last year, The Battle Dome. Don't know where that is? Just follow the sounds of grunts and the thuds of foam-wrapped PVC pipe hitting flesh.
All weapons are padded for your safety. It's fun for ages 5 and up.
Children must have adult supervision.
